Mr. Vallabhbhai Kataria, the founder and Chairman of Kataria Enterprises was born a Farmer in a remote Village near Junagadh. With the high ambitions of success, he achieved a degree in electrical engineering. He started his career in 1972 as a partner in a loss making Engineering machinery shop, Veena Engineering, which he turned around into a profit making unit. He diversified in 1981 to float Vinayak sales agency at Junagadh which sold Electrical goods. Subsequent to this, he established a distribution agency for Coca- Cola in the same district. |

It was in 1994, that he whole heartedly took up a huge FMCG distribution project by name of Kataria Enterprise. Starting with a Small Swaraj Mazda, he took the company to 100 Closed Body containers to ditribute Balaji Wafers and Namkins to 90% of India. The company is Ranked 5th at National level for such a huge distribution network that sustains on a single product sector. |
